    Use the SYNCDATA echo? Seems like a good solution for that kind of asynchronous synchronization (over a network... see what > did there?).

    I see what you did there :) ... Really SYNCDATA would be a perfect place if it were Synchronet only but its multiplatform door,so for those non-dovenet
    users I guess they could toss stuff in different data subs for those networks.

    Why not use it as an Advent Calendar on the main part of synchronet bbs.. if DMan would allow it..once you get all the bugs and such squashed?

    i have mixed feelings about that stuff. should everything people make be
    added to synchronet bbs when we can just add it if we want it if it's kept separate?

    Well back in the days everything was either calendar or database related, or both.
    But if it does what it says on the tin (as i've erd it called) then, why not?
    I do see some problems with mathing and area handling though especially if it was
    set to Richard, Hardener. or Random gibberish here locations, but would be nice to
    see if there were events such as lan parties of a decent size for doom or quake2.
    Or Demoscene, and demo parties especially, I don't even think any happen in ohio
    for Demos, but it'd be nice to know if they did/were. Though we do have the old ass hardware thing that goes on once a year a state away a bit.. Be nice to be reminded of that too.. But yes, suppose it could be added as a door drop.
